I'd like to sample all of them, and bringing them together into a book would make sense. B.M. Bower, Sinclair, Dane Coolidge, Mulford, etc. I'd certainly buy a copy of your reviews. I'd also like to see your thoughts on the book you have been reading, The Trail Drivers of Texas. Over a thousand pages of short memoirs by the cowboys who actually drove the herds. Also I'd like to see you review a WC Tuttle novel starring Hashknife. He wrote some good western mysteries with excellent dialog.Walker Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16089880902426182100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434602314756730550.post-76713516654513028582010-08-25T01:54:21.109-07:002010-08-25T01:54:21.109-07:00Great review, agree with the rest. There are some at the William S. Hart house here in LA, too.

Charles, I hadn't come across Sinclair until I was reading about B. M. Bower.

Sage, glad you're enjoying this.

Gary, I'm thinking it would be nice for these to find a home in a book.Ron Scheerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15357501069513854664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434602314756730550.post-30664113411779836152010-08-24T17:40:42.274-07:002010-08-24T17:40:42.274-07:00Agree excellent post and chapter length is cool, b...Agree excellent post and chapter length is cool, book length would be cooler. He was one of the very best western artists. I also like the Short Stories cover image. Often the trademark red sun image ruins or detracts from the cover but this one looks good. I have to admit that I like the westerns from the twenties, thirties, forties. I guess that's why I collect pulps and vintage paperbacks.Walker Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16089880902426182100noreply@blogger.com
