A handful of used copies are available for under $10 at AbeBooks. Google books seems to have none, only links to sellers. Harold Bindloss and Bertrand Sinclair are two other early Canadian writers you might look for.<br /><br />Charles, Apache starts out an honest man but is "driven" to crime, sort of like the James Bros.
