ReplyDeleteThem straw bales are interestin', but are not of the old fashioned variety, and them beans look awful good.

ReplyDeleteExcept for the steer wrestling, I've done that and it was a great part of my life. The "smoke from a .45" was actually a 44-40. My picture included only myself and mount and I missed. My shoulders bounced on a half-rotten log which raised me high enough so that my foot came out of the stirrup.
ReplyDeleteA half hour later both the green bronk and I had settled down enough that I caught him, mounted, and continued on my way.
By the way, why is it than beans taste better that way? Perhaps it's because that, usually, by the time you get to them you could eat the pot.
