Sign of the times

This greeted me as I got off the Culver City bus at Santa Monica Blvd. and Supelveda Blvd. in West Los Angeles this evening. Same sign as the last time I posted it several weeks ago. Only the numbers have been changed.

Sort of like the rising flood tides along the Mississippi. Looking on the bright side, you can think of it this way. While the value of your car depreciates, the gas in the tank is appreciating.

And so life goes on . . .

  1. Prices seem to be the same up here. I really don't know what to say about it all. But when the oil companies report record profits I think there's going to be a lot of really upset people.

  2. I picked a good tie to get a car with better gas mileage.

  3. I like the billboard immediately behind with a sports car and middle aged cool guy. Hey Kids! Keep Buyin' Gas!
