BITS top 10 westerns in 2011

I was over-energized posting top-ten lists last year, and I’m keeping it simple in 2011. Below are the ten western films I most enjoyed viewing and reviewing during the past year. Click each title for a link back to the review.

    Will Penny is probably my favorite off that list. True grit was good.

    I've seen all these westerns except for MEEK'S CUTOFF. They all are good and if I had to give one my top vote it would be THE MAN FROM LARAMIE. If you want to see a spellbinding performance by Burt Lancaster, watch VALDEZ IS COMING.

    A great list and yep I've seem em all. I prefer the original True Grit over the Cohen version though, but as I say there's not a bad movie on that list.
